Britain's best roof crack? Ma Dooley isn't the obvious first choice, but according to crack climbers Tom Randall and Pete Whittaker the bridge that spans a canal in Sheffield is one of the UK’s best, especially in view of training for longer and more difficult trad cracks.

The pair recently tried to climb the roof as if it were a huge multi-pitch, belaying at each end before continuing back on another lap. Here’s the result. Keep in mind that the bridge is 30 meters long and the difficulties are in the region of 7c+.
