Climbing restrictions are in place on various routes at Mišja Peč in Slovenia due to nesting owls and falcons. In agreement with the local conservation bodies, the nationwide climbing association Projekt OSP has informed that climbing is banned until June on selected climbs in the central sector. Climbers are asked to respect these restrictions in order to allow the birds to raise their young, and not jeopardise future climbing at the crag.

The banned routes are:
- Lahko noč, Irena
- Mozaik (and the extension Millenium)
- Kaj ti je deklica?
- Oktoberfest
- Šunka (the extension of Pasja radost)
- Krvavica extension

Misja Pec, Slovenia
One of the finest crags not only in Slovenia but the whole of Europe, the horseshoe-shaped overhanging Misja Pec shot to fame in recent years for the sheer number and variety of routes on offer. Stamina tends to be the name of the game, but short bouldery routes can be found on the overhangs to the left and right. Most routes are well bolted but the run-outs tend to get longer the higher you climb. Misja Pec is located on the Slovenian/Italian border just next to the sleepy village Ospo and the magnificent homonymous crag which dominate the hamlet.
