Robert Jasper and Jörn Heller have established a new multi-pitch rock climb up the overhanging NE Face of Monte Gallo, situated in the Capo Gallo Nature Reserve on the outskirts of Palermo, Sicily. Established ground-up over three days, according to the two German mountain guides the route follows "a perfect line" up a series of black tufas. The duo climbed "as clean as possible" which translates into a sparse bolts, planted only where necessary and where trad pro can't be placed. The seven pitch outing offers difficulties up to 7c/c+ and was freed by Jasper and Heller on 17 October 2014.
