Melloblocco 2013: day four, a bit of everything

More problems were sent today, this time by Barbara Zangerl and Sivio Reffo who sent "Climb for Life Woman" and "Maschio Dominante" respectively. Melloblocco is now in full swing.
A bit of everything seems to happen here at Mello. Such as the fact that late this afternoon it actually stopped raining. But here, high up in Val Masino, this is nothing but a minor detail. Because bouldering is the name of the game here and even today people got things done. Barbara Zangerl sent "Climb for Life Woman" just like Julia Abramchuk had done on Saturday. Those who were there talked about a pleasant moment, with birds twittering away, celebrating the end of the rain and two deer that walked past by chance (perhaps). What is certain is that the Austria champion showed her true worth once again and, well yes, absolute power. Check out the video below to see what we mean.

During the evening, better still at 20:00, there was another small surprise, created by Silvio Reffo who, immediately upon arriving, was dragged away by instatiable Riccardo Caprasecca to check out Maschio Dominante. And after checking it out, the rest followed naturally: Silvio demonstrated once again that he's on great form and sent it straight off. How about that for a welcome!

For the record, Zangerl's problem was also the first Mello boulder to have been self-certified with a video of the ascent. Silvio's climb was the second. A small revolution which (those in the know) believe will be the future.

Talking of future, the recent future: this evening at 21:00 Silvio Muffatti will introduce his book "La mia Val Masino", his story of emotions and adventures experienced in wild Valtellina. Immediately afterwards (22:00), thanks to the film "Chloé Graftiaux – Passion together" Melloblocco will remember the Belgian climbing champion who died on Aiguille Noire in 2010, and who had taken part in two Mellobloccos, in 2009 and 2010.
