Another "easy" new route at Gorroppu. Corrado Pibiri returned to the face where last month together with Fabio Erriu he had made the first ascent of Lunghe 'e vida mia to forge another similar though somewhat shorter climb. The new route, first ascended with Vincenzo Carcangiu, is 335m long and the 7 pitches ascend excellent grey limestone slabs. The route is called Los Compadres, is bolted throughout and graded 5c+. 10 quickdraws are required for a repeat and two 55m ropes. For the approach, descent and other information check out the nearby Lunghe 'e vida mia.

In the preceeding article the face had been referred to as Costas Mammaluccas. Matteo Cara, a geographer, sent us the following correction: "the route doesn't ascend Costa Mammaluccas, which is located immediately above the first Gorroppu lake, but starts exactly from the middle of Sa forada 'e sa Ida, which at Orgosolo is called Su Hone 'e sa Ide. I don't believe the face has a name, just like many others that were hitherto unclimbable, even if just below it there's the start to Su piggiu de Giuanne Soro"
