Jakob Schubert rocks Rocklands

Austrian climbing machine Jakob Schubert has just returned home from his first ever bouldering trip to Rocklands in South Africa and he result, unsurprisingly, was devastating. Read 55 problems sent that were harder than 8A, of which 20 8B or harder in a mere 17 days of climbing.

The 26-year-old explained "Since it was my first trip to this bouldering paradise I wanted to see as much as possible and climb as much as I can. I didn't want to waste time projecting something super hard and sent a lot of stuff that I can send in one session instead."

Having the best time in Rocklands!! This place is just incredible, so many awesome lines, perfect rock, amazing movements, great weather, nice people and stunning views ✨ Since it's my first time here I'm very busy sending as many classics as I can I've been doing really well, feeling very strong and adapting well to the style.
