Gorropu featuring Aleksandra Taistra, film streaming today at 21

After the preview on Saturday 19 September at the 25th Ladek Mountain Festival in Poland, this evening from 21:00 to 24:00 the film Gorropu will be streamed online. Featuring Polish rock climber Aleksandra Taistra, the film documents her attempts to repeat one of the most famous multi-pitches in the world, Hotel Supramonte (8b max / 7c oblig, 400m), first ascended ground-up by Rolando Larcher and Roberto Vigiani in the Gole di Gorropu in Sardinia between 1998 and 1999.

Taistra successfully repeated the route on 11 October 2019 during an "absolutely perfect, no-fall day", but it is not so much this film explores not so much the actual redpoint, but the entire journey that led the 38-year-old to complete this ambitious project. Not merely the rock climb therefore, but a fascinating journey that touches on important emotional and sentimental aspects.
