Despite her awesome list of ascents, Émilie Pellerin is possibly the best climber you’ve never heard of. The 32-year-old Canadian climber has redpointed up to 8b+ sport, repeated up to 8b+ trad with her first female ascent of La Zébrée in 2020, and onsighted and flashed hundreds of 5.13's worldwide, including the notoriously difficult The Shadow pitch in Squamish. Hailed as one of the best pitches in the area, this was freed onsight by Pete Croft in 1988 and never repeated in this style until Pellerin stepped up in 2018.

Knowing how much Pellerin operates under the radar her friend and filmmaker Alexa Fay set out to share her story to the climbing world. The result is this beautiful short film "Em".
