Young boulderer Charles Albert continues to amaze. After having sent 8C barefoot - yes, quite right, that really is 8C boulder without climbing shoes - the Frenchman has obviously continued to explore and expand his game and he has now done 8B+ barefoot… in descent. Albert downclimbed Gecko assis at Rocher de Bouligny in the Fontainebleau forest, which he had already climbed in 2014. Last week he reclimbed it by doing all the moves in the opposite direction, and he confirmed to planetmountain.com that it is "way harder downward." So, not only has Albert doen a heinously difficult boulder problem barefoot, but he has also down climbed it with disarming ease. Check out the video to see for yourself.
