Lavaredo Ultra Trail: ready for the first La Sportiva edition

Three thousand six hundred athletes registered from over 60 nations represented by Ultra and Trail runners of international calibre, the only Italian leg of the Ultra Trail World Tour circuit with the race qualification “Series” dedicated to the 6 most prestigious Ultra races in the world: immersed in one of the most beautiful scenarios of the Dolomites, the Lavaredo Ultra Trail is undoubtedly the dream of all trail runners. And as we approach its thirteenth edition, the first for La Sportiva, the Trentino brand presents the innovations dedicated to runners and outdoor enthusiasts, that will make the LUT week even more ultra.

LaSpo Experiences: run with the champions On Thursday morning, La Sportiva invites you to discover the beauty of the Dolomiti Ampezzane in the company of their team athletes. For race enthusiasts, six-time mountain running world champion Jonathan Wyatt will take you along part of the Lavaredo Ultra Trail to one of its most scenic spots. Mountain guide from Cortina and historical La Sportiva ambassador, Pietro Dal Prà will, instead, lead the hiking experience: a full immersion in the history of the Dolomites among the pastures of  Forcella Lerosa. Registrations open Monday 17th and for security reasons, the maximum number of participants is limited to the first 20 that register. At both events it will be possible to test La Sportiva hiking and running products.

Ultra Talk: faceoff between Anton Krupicka and Michele Graglia

#MyLUT Webseries: prepare for LUT Moving towards the start of this Lavaredo Ultra Trail 2019, La Sportiva wanted to tell video web-series the fundamental aspects of every athlete who takes part in an  ultra race: Time, Body and Mind. To do this, La Sportiva has decided to tackle each theme together with a different runner, who will be followed in his preparation and then in the competition by the watchful eye of our videomakers. From the amateur, the professional to the mental coach, themes and experiences common to many enthusiasts will be shared, hoping to act as drivers of motivation for all those who see their mountain to be climbed in this race. Thus the corporate claim “for your mountain” meets the equally well-known acronym of Lavaredo giving life to the #myLUT series. The same hashtag can be used by everyone to tell their own Lavaredo experience before, during and after the races that make up the event. If you haven't already done so, start sharing your LUT tool.

Photocontest: get into the action

La Sportiva launch the “more than running” photo contest to give the chance of sharing ones passion for off road racing with those who will not be in Cortina.
