The walk takes place mainly in the evocative Ampezzo Dolomites Natural Park and partly in the Fanes - Sennes - Braies Dolomites Natural Park, located north of Cortina d'Ampezzo. These two wonderful natural areas merge into a single protected reserve, crossing provincial and regional borders.
This fascinating hike takes us into the glacial basin of the Fòses lakes, and then continues towards the Sennes and Fodara mountain huts, culminating with the descent towards Malga Ra Stua, the starting point of our adventurous mountain trip.
This trek, although not particularly difficult, requires good physical preparation due to its length. Having said that, it should be noted that it is possible to shorten it, as explained below.
