Inspired by the brands iconic Salathé GTX RR Approach Shoes, and with the addition of the Swedish RECCO® rescue and safety system, the technically advanced 226 Salathé Trek GTX RR proves to be a responsive and faithful companion.

Thanks to the RECCO reflector, rescue organisations equipped with the appropriate detector can immediately track the wearer down if they get lost or find themselves in an emergency situation.

Despite its light weight, it’s stable, precise, and supportive thanks to a variety of features. Lacing down to the toe ensures a snug fit, the high cut suede upper gives additional ankle protection, and the new X-Active Fit® shape enhances comfort. The Hydrobloc® treatment and Gore-Tex lining ensure the boots are waterproof, while the 360° rubber/PU rand increases durability.

The Vibram® Pepe sole system with MEGAGRIP® compound ensures greater grip on different types of terrain, and finally, the dual density EVA wedge midsole guarantees cushioning and stability.
