Last week the German sports climber Marietta Uhden successfully redpointed "Baby-Basher" 10+ in Kochel, Germany. Originally climbed by Toni Lamprecht, "Baby-Basher" is now Uhden's fourth 8b+.

Uhden is well-known as a competition climber and for years dominated the German Cup completely. More recently she won the Boulder World Cup in Munich and placed third in the European Championship 2000.

Over the last couple of years she has also quietly made a name for herself with extremely hard redpoints. These include "Le Must" 8b+ in the Verdon, "Happy biceps" 8b+ and "Wassermusik" 8b+, both at Austria's Schleier Wasserfall.
