After three months of preparations, Jonathan Siegrist has now redpointed La Rambla, the 9a+ tespiece at Siurana in Spain first climbed by Alexander Huber in 1994 to a pocket at 3/4 height and subsequently extended by Ramón Julián Puigblanque in 2003.

Siegrist had travelled to Spain specifically with this route in mind and he describedi it as a "hard route, in a tough area. It's tall and involved and old school. It's awesome." La Rambla is Siegrist’s second 9a+ after Biographie at Ceuse in June 2014.
