Everest North, Spanish TV Expedition
Bad weather on the North Face of Everest. The Spanish TV Expedition has so far only managed to pitch a tent at Camp II at 7800m
![]() The weather at Everest continues to remain cold and extremely windy. The Spanish expedition, attempting to film an ascent for the second time from the north, has so far only been able to pitch a tent at Camp II at 7800m. Juanito Oyarzabal spent a night there but the high winds stopped him from sleeping. The rest of the team is settled at Base Camp, waiting for conditions to improve. All expeditions on the Tibetan side have been affected by these adverse climatic conditions, which have rendered the second half of the route impossible. by Manuel Lugli (Focus World Expeditions) (Above: Everest Base Camp in Tibet - photo F.
