Light & Fast alpinism with CAMP: new manufacturing technologies and materials result in lighter tools without compromising performance and safety.
Planetmountain
The evolution of alpinism moves along with an always wider adoption of a light & fast approach. New manufacturing technologies and new materials allow to make lighter tools without compromising on performance and safety. On the contrary: lightness means more speed and then less time in uncontrollable risk situations. Not to be mentioned that, even not in extreme, a lighter backpack means less tiredness and a more enjoyable mountain experience. This is the “reason why” which explains the obsession C.A.M.P. has for lightness and for innovation: the strategy behind the development of Alp CR - a record lightweight harness -, the highly effective Rocket ice screws and the Geko Guide gloves, which have become rapidly a reference for technical alpinism.

C.A.M.P. Alp CR

The Alp CR is a hyperlight harness designed for lightweight alpinism and mountaineering. The innovative construction uses super light and breathable nylon monofilament combined with exceptionally durable and abrasion-resistant high strength polyethylene. Adjustable leg loops ensure a precise fit and allow the harness to adapt to layers. The harness can be put on and taken off without removing skis or crampons. The elastic cord on the waist is detachable and the auto-locking aluminum alloy buckles on the leg loops can be unthreaded so they open completely. The elastic rise adjustment cord for the leg loops is secured by a knot to prevent the leg loops from creeping down. Two gear loops are removable using Hypalon® slots that can also accommodate Hub racking carabiners for ice screws. 3 sizes from S to L. Weight 94 g (M size).

CASSIN Rocket

The Rocket is a top-level workhorse for alpinists and ice climbers who rely on their ice screws in big mountain terrain. The chromoly steel construction is lightweight, strong and durable. The front teeth have been engineered for the fastest placements even in the coldest, most compact ice. Reverse angle threads ensure smooth driving and maximum holding power. Compact chromoly hanger aligns with the screw to pull in an optimal direction and racks well on both sides of the harness. Fold out crank knobs are color coded for easy identification. Available in 4 lengths (13, 16, 19, 22 cm) and 2 lengths for the XS version (7 and 9 cm for progression only, not certified). Weight 130 g (16 cm)

C.A.M.P. Geko Guide

The Geko Guide delivers the high level of climbing performance with a build intended for big mountain adventures. The tough goatskin body guarantees a high level of durability and protection. Knuckle protectors on the middle, ring and pinky fingers protect the fingers on variable terrain while the shaped construction still delivers a high level of dexterity, comfort and precise grip. Protection from the cold and from the elements is guaranteed with PrimaLoft® Gold 60 g/m2 insulation on the main body and the DRYZONE® waterproof/breathable membrane. 6 sizes from S to XXXL. Weight/pair 175 g (L size) WEB: www.camp.it
