Nacho Sánchez making the first ascent of Crisis 8C/+ at Crevillente
Yesterday Nacho Sánchez has made what he defines as "by far my hardest boulder problem to date", namely the 21-move Crisis at the conglomerate crag Crevillente in Alicante, Spain.
Sánchez told planetmountain.com "I managed to solve all the individual moves about 2 and a half years ago, and soon started working on linking them, not too seriously in the beginning, but I have been very focused on it for the last year and a half."
The result settles in at 8C/+ and comes after first repeats of Kemena and Kike 8B+/C, and above all the two first ascents of the 8C’s Entropia and nearby Insomnio, put up in 2012.
